Lecture course by Prof. Malcolm Sambridge
While on his sabbatical at EPM, Prof. Malcolm Sambridge from the Australian National University, Canberra is giving a short lecture course titled "Inverse problems and some methods of solution."

This series of lectures will include a combination of tutorial and research material in the area of inverse problems and parameter estimation applied to classes of problems that arise across the physical sciences. Drawing from a range of examples, particularly in the Earth Sciences, the course will highlight both standard and non standard approaches to solutions.
Some Python based exercises will be made available for students to work through some of these topics independently.
Classes take place 10.00-12.00 on Mondays and Wednesdays in the first two weeks of semester: 16th/18th/23rd/25th September.
