Visit of Dr. Thomas Gastine

The EPM group welcomes Dr. Thomas Gastine from Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) for a visit. His work concerns geophysical, planetary and astrophysical fluid dynamics, modelling of zonal flows and dynamo actions. He is invited as an external speaker and gave a talk "Regimes of rotating convection in spherical shells: an application to the icy satellites” for the EPM seminar.
